About Garth
Garth co-founded Triple Eight Plumbing and has helped run it for more than a decade. He’s the team’s technical lead on drains — the person customers turn to when a pipe has failed, collapsed, or been taken over by tree roots. As he puts it, the business is built on “results and relationships,” and repeat customers and referrals are a big part of how it has grown.
Garth completed his apprenticeship in Marlo, in Victoria’s east, and went on to work across Australia on mining and gas infrastructure before settling in Melbourne. That experience — on large, technical jobs where getting it right the first time matters — shapes how he approaches residential drainage today.
His signature work is no-dig pipe relining. As a certified Nu Flow franchise partner, Garth repairs damaged drains from the inside, without excavating gardens, driveways, or slabs — often saving customers thousands compared with traditional dig-and-replace. He also handles manhole relining and both reactive and preventative drain maintenance.
Customers describe Garth as reliable and quick to respond; he takes pride in turning up when he says he will and solving the problem properly. He’s also the driving force behind Triple Eight’s Beyond Blue partnership, with the business donating $1 from every job. Outside work, Garth is a father to one daughter and spends as much time as he can on the water, fishing.
