Residential, commercial and emergency plumbing across Melbourne’s eastern suburbs
AUTHOR PROFILE
Brett Ward is a Director and co-founder of Triple Eight Plumbing, a residential plumbing company serving Melbourne’s eastern suburbs. With more than 20 years in the trade, he specialises in residential maintenance, renovations, and blocked drains, and is known for honest advice, upfront pricing, and genuine attention to detail.

DIRECTOR & CO-FOUNDER
Brett has helped build and run Triple Eight Plumbing for more than a decade, growing it into one of Melbourne’s east’s trusted residential plumbing teams. As a Director, he still spends much of his time on the tools and on the phone with customers, because he believes the best way to run a plumbing business is to stay close to the work.
He started his apprenticeship in 2003 and has spent over 20 years in the trade since. That experience covers the full range of residential work — from a dripping tap or a running toilet through to blocked drains, bathroom and kitchen renovations, and civil works. There aren’t many household plumbing problems Brett hasn’t seen and solved.
Brett’s approach is simple, and it’s the reason so many customers call him back: friendly, honest plumbing. He explains problems in plain language, gives an upfront price before any work starts, and pays close attention to the details that make a repair last. No jargon, no surprise invoices, no cutting corners.
He is a member of Master Plumbers and Backflow Australia, and carries out all work to Australian Plumbing Standards. Away from the job, Brett is a father of three who loves getting away with the family whenever he can — and he treats customers’ homes the way he’d want his own looked after.
